This Sunday, Craobh Rua Camlocha is delighted to welcome Newry Shamrocks, St. Fechin’s, Blackrock, Carryduff & Clonduff for a special day of U14 hurling.

From the very early days of Craobh Rua, Seán Byrne gave so much to our club — as a photographer, grass cutter, sliotar gatherer, coach, treasurer… you name it, Seán was never found wanting.

Seán had a remarkable love for Gaelic life, and through his photography he captured so many of the moments, characters, craic and memories that helped shape our club. Six years on from his untimely passing, his spirit and contribution remain very much part of who we are.

Events like this would have been Seán’s delight, and we are proud to say that days like this are built on the shoulders of people like him.
