The U16 hurlers wrapped up an excellent 10-week training programme at DKIT Dundalk, putting in a huge effort both on and off the pitch. Over the course of the sessions, the team showed great commitment, turning up each week ready to work hard, improve their skills, and support one another.
The lads really grew as a group during the programme. From sharp stickwork to better communication and teamwork, there was clear progress in every session. Just as important was the attitude—they brought energy, determination, and plenty of positivity, creating a strong team spirit that will stand to them as the season begins.
These sessions have laid a solid foundation, giving the players the confidence and fitness needed to hit the ground running. With the season now getting underway, the team is in a great position to build on this work and get off to a strong start. If they keep the same focus and drive, there’s no doubt they’ll make it a season to be proud of.
